The company processes these ingredients to make various products, such as herbal teas and skincare items. Kangen Foods is committed to quality and sustainability, ensuring each product showcases the natural richness of Okinawa. Their goal is to promote health and wellness by offering tasty and beneficial options for consumers.

During my trip to Okinawa, I had the opportunity to meet the staff of Kangen Foods, and I learned a great deal from them. One interesting fact is that this company is also the manufacturer of the world-famous Kangen Water. They explained the benefits of this alkaline water and how it is produced, highlighting their commitment to health and wellness. The staff’s passion for their work and dedication to quality made my visit even more insightful and enjoyable.

Kangen Water is a brand of alkaline water produced through a process called electrolysis. This method enhances the pH level of regular water, making it more alkaline, which some believe can have health benefits, such as improved hydration, better detoxification, and increased antioxidant properties.
The gadget used to produce Kangen Water is an alkaline water ionizer. This device typically uses electrolysis to separate the water into alkaline and acidic components. Users can select different pH levels, depending on their needs, ranging from strong alkaline water for cleaning to mildly alkaline water for drinking. The ionizer is designed to be used at home, providing a convenient way to access alkaline water daily.
It was only when I visited Kangen Foods that I learned so much about alkaline water and the various pH levels. The staff explained how different levels of alkalinity can have different uses. Additionally, I discovered that the alkaline water ionizer can also be utilized for growing hydroponic plants, promoting healthier growth, and as drinking water for cows, which can lead to more tender meat. The by-products after peeling turmeric is dried and thrown on the floor of the cow shed. This visit provided me with valuable insights into the versatility and benefits of alkaline water beyond just drinking!
Enagic is the company owned by the same owner and it operates on a multi-level marketing model, offering worldwide distributors an opportunity to sell their products and earn commissions. Enagic emphasizes a philosophy of promoting health through water and aims to educate consumers about the benefits of alkaline water and healthy living. They also provide training and support for their distributors to help them succeed in their businesses.

In addition to their core business, Kangen Foods also operates a golf course and a gold training academy. I am truly grateful to the management for taking the time to show me around their entire operation and accompanying me on the tour of their expansive premises. I left the visit with a wonderful bag of goodies, which included turmeric supplements, turmeric soap, and their new venture, Ukon Vegetable Curry. It’s worth noting that the curry is not suitable for vegetarians, as it contains beef as one of the ingredients. This experience was both informative and enjoyable!
