Jaggery and Cardamon Banana Cake
To make this cake divine, use bananas that are very ripe – the ones that have brown flecks on the peel. Bananas contain tryptophan, an amino acid that helps your body produce serotonin, a natural substance that has a calming effect on the brain and can act as a gentle sedative. I used dark jaggery and used a fine grater to grate it. Go on try baking this cake.

Cashew Nut Cookies
The cashew nut’s shape symbolizes the gold bars used in ancient times and therefore, it is an auspicious ingredient used in cooking during Chinese New Year.

Pandan Cupcakes With Palm Sugar Frosting
The cupcake itself is unique in flavour too. Instead of using the usual vanilla essence, the pandan leaves have been blended in the milk to give a natural aroma. If you cannot find fresh pandan leaves, you can use 1 teaspoon of pandan paste instead.

Raspberry Lamingtons
Raspberry lamingtons make very good party cakes. It is not difficult to bake a batch of lamingtons at home. However I think it is best to make the lamingtons the day before the party. You can store lamingtons for up to a week in the refrigerator.

If you do not have an idea of what edible gifts to make to give away during Christmas, make popcorns!! It is so fun to eat and loved by most people.

M & M Cookies
The M & M cookies are also one of my favourites – I think they look cool with all those yummy small, round and colourful milk chocolate covered confectionary studded on them.

Rainbow Cookies
Making cookies is not at all a difficult task. However, the effort of making cookies will be wasted if the cookies are not stored correctly.

Rocher Cupcakes
I love this cupcake for its tasty contrasting layers – creamy hazelnut filling, the crisp wafer shell, the crunchy hazelnut in the centre and the yummy taste of Nutella on the surface of the cake!
-
Moist Cinnamon Apple Cake
I absolutely love the heavenly smell emanated when cinnamon, sugar and apples are baked together!!

Eggless Pineapple Rolls
Over the years, the pineapple tarts have been given new looks – pineapple square tarts, pineapple and clove rolls, pandan-pastry pineapple tarts, so on and so forth. However, the classic recipe is still the favourite with the majority of people.
